The Shias would say exactly the same about the Sunnis. As a non muslim I cannot understand why this bitter aggro exists between these two sects when originally there was no argument over the religion as such but purely centred round who was the legitimate heir to Muha mmed.How the religious leaders allowed things to deteriorate so far I do not understand unless they have a vested reason for perpetuating this division,

You are wooly minded if you don't mind me saying so - this is not the forum for inciting nasty answers. Please keep your religion to yourself ask other like minded people of your own faith and I am sure Sunnis and Shias may claim to be religious and holy, but by Christ they don't show any good examples of peace and love to me anyway. !!!
