Who has read "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy?

I'm currently reading the book right now, and I find it interesting and somewhat easy. The plot definetly captures the reader as the story goes on, and the book deals with important historic subjects. How old were you when you read it? I'm thirteen.
Best Answer:
18. There are some chapters that require deep philosophical thought. It would be good if you wrote notes of what you think it all means to you now, and reopen it 15 years from now and re read the chapters.

I was 14 when I read it and I found it also to be a great book. If you like War and Peace you would love Anna Karenina

I just started reading it this year. It's very good so far. I'm a big Russia buff but I couldn't really call myself one until I read the greatest book in Russian literature.
I'm 14*

The first time I read it I was 12 ( I am 27 now). The first time I read it in Russian I was 21. The book is much richer and a much different experience if you read it in the original language. It was awesome really.
